working principle:

The characteristic of a pulse airflow dryer is the alternating reduction and expansion of the diameter of the airflow drying tube. The use of pulse airflow drying tubes can fully utilize the high heat and mass transfer capabilities of the acceleration section to enhance the drying process. The added material particles first enter the drying tube with a smaller diameter, and the particles are accelerated. When their acceleration motion ends, the drying tube diameter suddenly expands, and the particles enter the drying tube with a larger diameter by inertia. Particles continuously decelerate due to resistance during their movement until the deceleration is complete. The drying tube suddenly shrinks again, causing the particles to be accelerated again. By repeating this process alternately, the diameter of the tube shrinks and expands, causing the particle's movement speed to accelerate and decelerate alternately. The relative velocity and heat transfer area between air and particles are relatively large, thereby enhancing heat and mass transfer rates. At the same time, the decrease in airflow velocity inside the expanding tube also increases the drying time accordingly.

After purification, the external air is heated to around 160-200 degrees Celsius by a diesel fired hot air stove and enters the drying tube. Wet materials are fed into the airflow drying acceleration tube by a spiral feeder. The materials are dispersed by high-speed hot air flow in the acceleration tube and suspended in the hot air. Gas and solid move in parallel, and the hot air transfers heat to the materials. After absorbing heat, the materials quickly undergo heat and mass exchange, and the evaporated water enters the air. Therefore, the heat and mass transfer process between gas and solid continues in the pulse airflow drying tube until the upper part of the drying tube is close to the critical moisture content (i.e., the constant speed drying process of the materials ends). After that, the materials dry and enter the deceleration drying. When the mixture enters the cyclone separator, the wet air separates from the materials. Dry materials are recovered from the lower part of the secondary cyclone, The exhaust gas is filtered by a bag filter and discharged into the atmosphere by an induced draft fan. The two-stage cyclone material with first level drying enters the second level drying.
